I was locked in a prison for 2 years. They were not bringing us anything to eat. They brought us food every other day and the food was just a very small piece of bread. During these two years they have been beating me, every day. They never allowed me to get up, I was forced to always remain seated. I began to be unable to use my legs properly. I could not stretch my legs anymore, I could not walk or even stand up. While I was in prison, at the end I could not move anymore. I could not even get on the boat that brought me to safety. A friend had to carry me in his arms… These people wanted a ransom from me but I did not know how to pay. If I am free today, it is because they gave me up, I was very close to death according to them. That is why they set me free. They thought that they could not get anything else from me.
